Acquascience manufactures a wide range of products for Life Scientists and Healthcare. We were founded in 1978 as Braidwood laboratories, producing photographic chemicals throughout the UK. This quickly developed into the release of Histology, Cytology, Pathology chemicals and stains. Our Histology reagents are found in many hospitals throughout Europe. During 2011 our R&D department developed a series of novel protein reagents and the need for a name change to encompass this technology became apparent. Acquascience was the choice and we now have distinct product divisions, Including Histology, Protein Chemistry and Contract Manufacturing.

Early in 2012 Acquascience moved to Horsted Square in Uckfield, which features glass panelled production labs, so our visitors can view production in progress. We have also implemented automation into our production line, as we continually strive to improve the quality of our products.

The aim of Acquascience is simple, – excellence through development and perseverance.
