Magnettech is manufacturer and supplier of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrometers. One of the most important applications is the detection and quantification of nitric oxide (NO) and superoxide respectively reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cardiology, vascular biology and in the biomedical field. In general you can detect and quantify paramagnetic species like free radicals, transition metal ions, metals and crystal lattice (defects) using EPR spectroscopy.

Our products are high sensitive benchtop spectrometers (X-band) and modern modular EPR spectrometers (L-band). The modular devices offer signal resolutions from spectral over spectral-spatial up to 3-dimensional signal resolution the so called "imaging".

Beside a great number of accessories and glassware for all spectrometers we offer advice and support concerning the applications.

The company Magnettech has been founded 1991 by members of the department of "High Frequency Spectroscopy" at the "Centre for Construction of Scientific Devices" of the Academy of Sciences of the former GDR.

It developed to the complete bidder of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) technology, which comprises the following products:
